About the event
We're taking over Newlands Community Centre for the day!
Come along to see art works from gender diverse creatives, made together during workshops with Queers Draw This & ArtKind.
There'll be:
- art to look at & buy
- trans maker's market
- food, music & prizes
- sweet TGDNB community safe space
Please join us to celebrate being rad & gender diverse.
TIMELINE:
12.30pm Acknowledgement of country
Official exhibition opening by activist legend, Brenda Appleton.
Celebrations & thank yous from the artist-facilitators
2pm Drawing grounding exercises
Drawing speed dating
Market stalls, music & food all day
ACCESS:
- We'll reclaim the bathrooms as all gender
- Sensory aware space
- Masks strongly encouraged (except outside or with exemption)
- PT: Upfield or Mernda trains & 527 bus
- free parking
- Chill outside spaces & opens onto a park
