Book Club - August

August's text is a movie, so pick a time to cosy up with warm gear, maybe a fellow human and definitely some snacks for Brief Story from the Green Planet. 

Tania's grandmother has died, so she and her two besties return to her home where they find something unexpected. We follow them across Argentina on their strange mission. A lovely gentle film of queer friendship and solidarity for anyone who's ever felt like maybe they were from another planet. It stars trans actress Romina Escobar and won the Teddy Award for best LGBTQ feature film at the Berlin film festival in 2019.
